Bridgnorth High Street 12.00pm - 6.00pm Outdoor “Live” Concert

Artists confirmed :

HMV Band
The bands sound is shaped by their love of diverse genres, both personally and within the band line-up. Their driving rock sound is very similar to that of classic American R&B based bands such as Georgia Satellites and ZZ Top, blended with the precision and musicianship of highly influential bands such as Mr. Big and Steve Vai.

Loose Endz
A jazz singer, a rock guitarist and a classically trained flautist formed Loose Endz after a joint performance in a church, of all places, back in 2002.
With this strange combination they produce music of outstanding quality and emotion, and their repertoire ranges from all areas of the musical spectrum.
They were inspired and greatly influenced by the music of Eva Cassidy, and perform many of her covers from the simple Fields of Gold to the bluesy Stormy Monday.
Recreating classic rock songs such as Stairway to Heaven/Led Zeppelin and Little Wing/Hendrix, the band offer unique interpretations in a style never heard before.
The band later extended in 2006 with the introduction of a bass guitar, this gave the sound a lot more depth enabling them to experiment with various new material.
Now adding the finishing touches they have included drums to create a complete full sound and the chance to branch out into other areas of music.
The band consists of: Carole Westwood – vocals, percussion, Chris Woodley – acoustic and electric  guitar, Annie Rees-Jones – flute, vocals, percussion, Doug McKendrick – bass, vocals and Ian  Hart - drums
They currently perform in pubs and restaurants in and around the Midlands area and are in the process of writing their own material in preparation for a new cd.   The original trio recorded their first cd called “Raw”in 2003, as a result of which they performed a live acoustic session on BBC Radio WM in March 2005.
They supported Linda Lewis when she appeared at the Robin 2 Club in Wolverhampton in 2006 and also the Steve Gibbons Band later the same year, from which there is a live recording on cd.

Stretchneck
Stretchneck are a Rock and Roll band with strong American rock and blues influences. Names like Johnny and Edgar Winter, Rick Derringer, Leslie West, Montrose, Boston, and of course, Van Halen, all spring to mind. But lets not forget our own 'greats', like The Who, Stones, Small Faces and of course Gary Moore. They're all here in our music. In fact it was the sheer aggression of a certain Mr Pete Townshend that steered me personally away from the soppy pop of the late sixties.

Love Jones
Pop music for grown ups...

The Dockers
The dockers formed 1998 . all the lads had  different tastes in music so it was agreed to vary what we did. hence the wide range of covers we performed at what is now approaching 450 gigs. eg  Elvis, Cochran,Dr Feelgood, Dire straites,Free,The Stones, and many more to make up what we hoped would be enjoyable to a wide rangeof listeners.
