Family Fun Day in The Castle Grounds
Written by Jennifer Bone Saturday, 04 September 2010
For the last two years the Bridgnorth Music & Arts Festival has put on an afternoon of live music in the town's bandstand, situated in the wonderful picturesque setting of Bridgnorth Castle Grounds park. Running from 12pm until 6pm on Saturday 4 September, there will be a diverse range of acts playing an eclectic mix of musical styles.
Now in its third year, the Castle Grounds event has expanded to include children's face painting, cartoons, Museum On the Move – a travelling exhibition relating to childhood; ice creams and all supported by St John's ambulance first aiders. Volunteers from the Bridgnorth Music & Arts Festival will be present throughout the day raising money for the league of Friends of Bridgnorth Hospital and there may even be a cameo appearance from a very special guest!
So why not bring your family and have a picnic in the park accompanied by quality live music and family friendly activities!
