Fund raising raffles around Bridgnorth pubs
Written by Simon Golding Thursday, 24 February 2011
We have enjoyed great success and wonderful generosity from our previous raffles raising money towards this year's Bridgnorth Music and Arts Festival. We kicked off with the Christmas raffle at The Bell and Talbot raising £126.50 and then a New Year's Eve raffle at the Black Boy - £186. For Valentines Day we had a specially themed raffle and raised £243.
We have received some wonderful prizes from our donators including The George, Bell & Talbot and The Black Boy. We have had some wonderful restaurants offer us mouth-watering meals such as Bambers and Casa Ruiz. The North Star in Worcester donated a beautiful necklace and bracelet and we received a voucher from Bridgnorth Delicatessen.
The organisers of the Bridgnorth festival wish to thank everyone who offered us a venue for the raffles, donated prizes and of course bought tickets. Without your cooperation we would not be able to move forward with the festival and ultimately raise money for our chosen national and local charities.
