John Forgeham Acting Master Class at the Festival
Written by Simon Golding Wednesday, 06 April 2011
The wonderful actor and director John Forgeham has agreed to conduct an acting Master Class during our festival. John has had a distinguished career spanning nearly 50 years. After winning the Silver Medal at RADA the actor went on to make hundreds of film and TV appearances.
John has starred in many TV series including Crossroads, Prime Suspect, London’s Burning, Ruth Rendell Mysteries and of course Footballer’s Wives as Frank Lasslett.
He has also starred in many films including The Italian Job (original), Sheena: Queen of the Jungle, Kiss of the Dragon and Mean Machine.
The actor has also worked extensively with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC). John is also an accomplished director having run his own theatre company in central London.
It is a great honour to me as I will be writing a one-man-show for John simply called ‘Meet John Forgeham’. The show will include many stories from his very colourful life and will include a Q&A session. It is a very exciting project that John and I have agreed to showcase sometime during our forth-coming Bridgnorth Music and Arts Festival 2011 – before going on to other theatres and venues across the country.
