Special Screening and Screentalk with the Director and Screenwriter Matt Daniels

It is with great pleasure that we can announce an early screening and screentalk of director Matthew Daniels latest film, Finding Their Feet – as part of this year's Bridgnorth festival.

Due to the wonderful generosity of Reel Cinemas, who will supply the 80-seater Screen 2 room at the Majestic, we can offer this impressive one-off screening of Finding Their Feet. Present for the special screening will be the director and co-screenwriter of the movie, Matthew Daniels. Matthew has very kindly agreed to introduce the film and after the end credits have rolled will conduct a Q & A session. It is also hoped that the DVD will be released in time for this festival event and signed copies will be available to buy on the evening.

Following the director’s post-apocalyptic thriller Powerless in 2004, which garnered strong reviews and media attention, his latest movie is also expected to set the film world alight.

Finding Their Feet, shot exclusively in Shropshire, will have its world premier in July this year. It has already been screened throughout Europe and the USA – visiting various film festivals. The film received wonderful praise from critics and public alike and has been nominated for several prestigious awards.

About the film…

'Kate was a dancer, a good one, until the accident. Scarred - physically and emotionally she has become a reclusive mute - the internet is her only escape. When she meets a boy who wants her to dance again she starts to break out of her shell.  But does her new friend have her best interests at heart?'
