Bridgnorth Sponsored Walk team 2010

Festival people, Linda Luke and Jem plus twenty one others took part in the 22 mile Bridgnorth Sponsored Walk as part of the Bell & Talbot Team. Raising money for the Air Ambulance and Bridgnorth Music & Arts Festival.
We met outside Bell & Talbot for a group photo with sponsor Ollie Jones of JL Same Day Courier Service. By all accounts a few of the team had been drinking in the Crown until 2.30 am the night before!
Just over 1000 walkers set off from Town Hall at 10a.m. for the 22 miles to the top of Brown Clee Hill and back.
Guy Gibson, landlord of Bell & Talbot was first to reach the Howard Arms at Ditton Priors but that was only because being old and past a certain age he hadn’t "done" the hill. Naturally several members of the team couldn’t go past The Howard without stopping for a quick pint.
Martha Hocking was first one in the team to cross the finish line at around 2.45pm.
Afterwards the team celebrated with a free pint each at The Bell & Talbot.
