R. J. Ellory - Talk and Book Signing

It is with pleasure that we welcome the bestselling and multi-award winning novelist, Roger Jon Ellory, to the festival. The prolific Birmingham based author has published several books. Candlemoth was his first novel to be published in 2003. This was followed in 2004 by Ghostheart, and A Quiet Vendetta in 2005 which won the Quebec Laureat. City of Lies was published in 2006, as was A Quiet Belief In Angels, which many will recall was featured on the Richard & Judy Book Club. Roger received several awards for A Quiet Belief in Angels, including the Livre De Poche, the Nouvel Observateur, the Strand Mystery of the Year and the US Independent Award. Roger then released A Simple Act of Violence, which won the Theakston's Crime Novel of the Year Award at the Harrogate Crime Festival last month.
The Anniversary Man was published in 2009 and Saints of New York is due for release later thisyear.
Roger will visit Bridgnorth Library to give a talk about his work and sign copies of his books.
