Literary Events Update

At this early stage, as we prepare for the forthcoming Bridgnorth Music and Arts Festival (27th August – 5th September 2010), we have managed to secure two leading authors. The multi-award winning Roger Ellory http://rjellory.com/ and prolific biographical novelist Nigel Goodall http://www.nigelgoodall.co.uk/

Author book signings, workshops and related talks are planned throughout the festival.

Stop press: Shropshire author Kate Long http://www.katelong.co.uk/ has now been booked to appear at the Festival too.

Kate Long’s first novel 'The Bad Mother’s Handbook', which tells the story of a year in the life of one family, was made into a TV movie and broadcast on ITV in 2007. Kate Long also co-wrote the screenplay, with Kate O'Riordan.  The film starred Catherine Tate and the huge star Robert Pattinson (Harry Potter, Twilight, New Moon).
